Spanish publication Marca has now revealed that Real Madrid are expecting Mbappe to be fit for their Copa del Rey final, which could stand as their only option to not go trophyless this season. The report revealed that the Frenchman has already returned to training with Los Blancos, and the coaching staff expect that Mbappe will be able to be included in the squad for the Clasico.

Mbappe has not exactly had the best time against Barcelona so far this season in both of the Clasicos, as both clashes saw the Catalan side manage to completely neutralize the France international's threat through the middle of the attack and win 4-0 in La Liga and 5-2 in the Supercopa de Espana.
