Following on from that incredible 19-assist season, the Swedish international only managed five goals and four assists this season, as he struggled with injuries.
The 26 year-old would be a perfect fit for Unai Emery’s high tempo press thanks to his experience in Ralph Hasenhüttl’s incredibly fast paced Leipzig system, and adding more creativity to the likes of Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan could make the Gunners a real force again.
